Tim Bastmeyer is a Canadian guitarist, singer/songwriter, recording engineer, and music teacher. He began his career in the Canadian rock festival scene in the 1990s and later gained international recognition touring in Europe and Great Britain. 

 Career Overview

  • In the 1990s, Bastmeyer's band shared festival stages with notable Canadian acts like Big Sugar, Jeff Healy, and The Tea Party. They later signed with a management company in England and toured with bands such as Biohazard and Rose Tattoo.
  • After his rock band disbanded, Bastmeyer transitioned his focus releasing four solo albums. He has opened for John Primer, Albert Cummings, Rik Emmett, Tom Wilson, and Blackie And The Rodeo Kings
  • When not touring, Bastmeyer can be found at his recording studio where he works as a producer and engineer on various projects including music, podcasts, television, and film.
  • He has been a leader in music education in his community for over two decades.
